Any day on the water is a great day. And it was, sunny and warm and a light breeze. Not enough breeze for a nice sail, but the sail was up and it was good to pretend. The crew were friendly and helpful. There were refreshments and lunch supplied. An hour snorkelling over the reef off Hook Island was spectacular, lots of colourful coral and fish. The crew were professional when running the boat, or watching over the passengers while they snorkelled. A pleasant cruise back to the marina, then the day was over quicker than it had started. Well done to all.
This cruise was suggested by Ewan who works in sales at Red Cat Adventures in Airlie Beach. This was a great way to spend an afternoon leading into sunset aboard Wings in Airlie beach with my gf visiting from Dubai and her 13 year old son. The meeting point instructions were flawless and stress free. The Vessel was spacious and the crew were amazing, friendly, helpful and interactive. It was an all girl crew, ( Mon the skipper and Maddy our hostess / Deckhand ) The other guests on board were also great all from interstate. Me being the only local but I managed to interact with them all and everyone was enjoying the cruise. The vessel capacity if I recall is 29 and there were approx 22 guests on board on our particular cruise so it was not over crowded in any way and even at 29 there is still ample space. The Sunset was stunning 🌞 The charcuterie boards had a great selection to choose from. 🧀🥓🫒 A welcome drink was also served on arrival which was slightly sweet so a perfect start to a sunset cruise and following that we were able to partake in the bubbles we bought on board ourselves as the cruise is BYO. Plastic glasses were proved. Over all 10/10 Thank you Ewan from Red Cat Adventures for the recommendation also.
We are a group of 4 friends over 60. We had a fabulous day on our small group day tour. The staff were brilliant and super helpful. The boat was very comfortable. The snorkelling - oh the snorkelling was incredible. So many glorious fish and the coral was simply beautiful. The food was delicious, fresh and plentiful. Would highly recommend for a relaxed enjoyable experience. We didn’t do the SUP or kayaking so can’t comment on that part.
An unforgettable day on the reef! We had an amazing day aboard Wings III. The luxury catamaran was comfortable, the snorkelling was outstanding, and the clear-bottom kayaking was a real highlight. To top it all off, we were lucky enough to see migrating whales breaching on the sail back to Airlie Beach. A huge thank you to Mon and Sarah for their friendly, knowledgeable and attentive service throughout the day, and for preparing the wonderful morning tea and lunch. We highly recommend Wings to anyone looking for an exceptional Whitsundays experience!
