Came here Tuesday just gone and had honestly one of the best turkey sandwiches I’ve had in a very long time. Fresh turkey, perfectly balanced ingredients, beautifully toasted bread, everything evenly spread and made with care. You can see from the first photos how good it was. Because of that experience, I came back again Thursday and ordered the exact same sandwich expecting the same quality… but it was completely different. The cheese was wrong from what I asked for, the turkey looked shrivelled up and much less fresh, and the cranberry sauce was just dumped in clumps instead of spread through the sandwich. It honestly felt like two completely different cafes made them. I’m genuinely confused how it went from one of the best sandwiches I’ve had to one of the worst in the space of two days. Consistency matters, especially when the first experience was so impressive. Hopefully today was just an off day because Tuesday’s sandwich was absolutely fantastic.
We were waiting for our ferry over to Hamilton Island and looking for a decent spot for a late brunch, so glad we found this place! It’s only about a 10-minute easy walk from the airlie port. The food was freshly made and came out in less than 5 minutes. We had the Reuben Sandwich and the Jerk Chicken Sandwich… no pictures because they were too delicious and disappeared very quickly 😅 The coffee and smoothie were also amazing and they catered perfectly for my dairy allergy which we really appreciated. The staff were super friendly too. Highly recommend if you’re in the area!
Coffee here was delicious! Really friendly staff too. We ordered 2 vanilla cappuccinos and both were great. Cafe itself is also really nice with plenty of food options too.
Amazing place, definitely worth a visit if you're in the area. They have really good vegan and vegetarian options, which made it super easy to find something I liked. I especially love the Bear Mocha 😁, it quickly became my favorite thing on the menu. Honestly, I did not know it was even possible to make the bear on a mocha! The taste and presentation were both fantastic, and it's clear a lot of care goes into every order. Great service too, everyone was friendly and welcoming. I will definitely be coming back again soon, and I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for good food and drinks with a nice variety of options for different diets.
