Coffees came out fast and were perfect. Big breakfast was good size portion. Spanish beans was tasty and a nice little kick of spice. Mushrooms - they were tasty on their own but the flavour profile didn't belong on this plate. I think the mushrooms were marinated in soy sauce, vinegar, garlic and ginger. For us personally, it was confusing to have this flavour amongst the rest of the dish. Smashed avo on toast - love that it came with 2 pieces of toast and big heaping of avocado. Good atmosphere and location. Service were attentive and friendly. Noticed staff interaction with a customer who was unhappy with her coffee - pleasant exchange where the staff were adamant to remake it no trouble to ensure the customer didn't leave dissatisfied. Love to see this in customer service.
Great little cafe overlooking the beach and ocean. It's always a must-visit cafe for us when in Airlie Beach. Pet friendly with cheap $1 doggie biscuits and snacks. Ordered the eggs Benedict, and the buttermilk pancakes which were ready pretty quick within 15 minutes. The mocha frappe was better than the choc frappe but both good. The only downside is that everytime we come here it is always busy! They need more tables!
A lovely cafe, great staff and the coffee is very good. I ordered the eggs your way which were tasty and poached perfectly. Had to deduct a star for the lack of sauce/relish that was promised with the dish on the menu. :(
Beautiful setting and friendly staff. Great atmosphere and almost on the beach. Portion size is extremely generous and everything tasted amazing and looked enticing. Good for a brekky and great start to my day.
