We just wanted to put up a new review as we have stayed here before a few times but this was the best yet. Not only is Airlie Beach beautiful but this resort is in the perfect spot on a point. We had views of the bays out all our windows. We loved the wonderful balcony with a spa. A big shout out to all the staff who were absolutely amazing, so friendly and helpful. All the food was delicious as were the drinks but I would like to crown Sally's signature Old Fashioned as the best I have ever had and I'm an expert! We will definitely be back again next year or even earlier depending on grandchildren duty!
Thank you to a top class hotel who know what it means to give the ultimate customer experience. We arrived early in the evening after a long 10 hour journey to be greeted by friendly, smiling & courteous staff. They immediately made us feel welcome & booked a table in their restaurant. Menu had a good variety of dishes at a resonable price and food was delicious. We stayed in their suite rooms with balconies facing the ocean. Image the relaxing sound of waves lapping up against the rocks as you fall asleep. Rooms were well designed & clean with daily housekeeping, who made sure you had adequate stock of the essentials in your room- coffee & biscuits of course 😆 One of our party celebrated his 60th birthday there and Sally Chantler (Assistant F&B Manger) & her team made sure that our cake & balloons were delivered to the table while singing happy birthday. A perfect moment in time while eating a platter of their delicious sandwiches. One thing I personally like about Sally, she is an action taker, who went out of her way to make sure our stay was pleasurable. One of our party has mobility issues & they gave him the choice of a suite or easily accessible rooms. I raised a few tweaks with Sally that could be made around the hotel to allow a more easily accessible experience. She immediately saw their maintenance team to action these steps & raised these issues with her General Manager. Thanks again team as we fly back to Tasmania. My daughter and I shared 5 nights at Coral Sea Resort. We walked into our room and was so overwhelmed we hugged, it was just beautiful. The room was clean, pristine, comfortable. Our outlook was magical. I enjoyed the pool area, the friendliness of the team added to making our stay special. They were all attentive, offering friendly warm energy without being intrusive. I was made to feel comfortable in every area of my stay. I aim to make it part of my annual to do list. Coral Sea Resort is good for my health loved it.🌻 We enjoyed the continental breakfast, and friendly good morning greeting. The board walk to the Marina was an extension of coral sea resort, My daughter took advantage of the gym facility offered. The peace in the evening was divine, hearing the waves lapping on the rocks below was therapeutic. I recently reached retirement age, my daughter mentioned it prior to our holiday. When we went into our room a little note of congratulations with chocolates was a delight.
My husband and I are locals and we decided to dine at Coral Sea Resort to celebrate our anniversary. The location of the resort is without a doubt the best in the area, the grounds are spotless with beautiful tropical landscaped gardens which adds to the atmosphere. The eye fillet was absolutely delicious and the portion size was substantial. My only suggestion would be to add a chicken dish to a future menu. A good selection of cocktails were on offer and these were made to perfection! Finally, I cannot speak highly enough of the friendliness and attentiveness shown to us by the staff, they absolutely made our night.
