Good Italian restaurant. We went there twice. Pizza was very good, also the seafood Spaghetti and the Vodka gnocchi. The Focaccia was like a regular bread with some olive oil and its huge, i would only recommend if you are 4+ people. The service is good and the Espresso Martini really tasty. Tip: If they say they’re full go check the website. I could book a 7pm table at 6:45pm even tough they told all the others they are fully booked.

Lovely dining experience at La Tabella Italian. We had the beef carpaccio and the gnocchi. Flavours of the dishes and presentation were appreciated. Watching the Chef prepare the meals showed how much care went into each dish. Would recommend a visit! 🍷💫

Unfortunately, we were disappointed here. As of today, there’s a new menu with significantly higher prices. When we sat down, we were offered sparkling water, but no mention was made that we’d be charged $12 for a 1-litre bottle. The Lemon Lime & Bitters we ordered were extremely sour and had to be remade – the second drink was then colourless and equally unimpressive in taste. In the end, however, we left it at that as at least it was drinkable. The truffle ravioli, which were listed as vegetarian, were unfortunately not vegetarian. When we asked, we were told there was only ‘a tiny bit of meat’ on top, which wasn’t the case when the dish was served. At least we were given a small discount as compensation. The calzone was only prepared after the ravioli had already been served. The staff apologised for this. However, it tasted very good and the portion size was also impressive. The staff were friendly overall, but we probably won’t be coming back. We hope we just happened to visit on a bad day…

I don’t know how to say this but this was the best dinner of my life. I KNOW that’s a statement haha but I mean it. We were initially upset because it took 20min for us to be sat at our table (there was a queue at the entrance - busy time of the year) but the food and service was so good we totally forgave the wait haha. My partner and I ate here for New Year’s Eve (31 Dec 2025) and there was a set Chefs Banquet menu for just $88. I say “just” because there was SO much food. It was phenomenal and felt like such a deal. Everything was absolutely incredible. Where do I start? Dinner service started with 7 STARTERS. Focaccia, burrata with tomato and pesto, beef carpaccio WITH TRUFFLE DRESSING (my favourite), fried calamari & aioli, warm olives, rocket salad with red onion and dressed to perfection. We came very hungry and everything was sooo good that we went silent for some time. I loved the attention to detail for every sauce and side. So much flavour in every dish! We then got our chosen mains. I got the sirloin steak and my partner got the lamb ragu pasta. We were looking at each other like “wow this is the best was to end 2025”. The pasta was PERFECTLY al dente and saucy and flavoured. My steak was the perfect medium rare and had creamy mash with the most delicious baked Brussel sprouts and gravy all over. Just incredible. For drinks we got a Hugo spritz and an espresso martini (extra of course). 10/10 again! Not too sweet not too strong. Just right. We were also told the tiramisu was a tasty & protected recipe so we HAD to try that. We were totally full at this point but took the tiramisu take-away. Totally worth it. Had it at the hotel after a walk. Some of the best tiramisu of my life. Thank you again to the team which clearly was so so so busy & were opened until late. We left at around 11pm (1h before New Year midnight). Even if it was ultra busy, the waitresses still came to check in on us to make sure that the food was all good. We’d love to come again (when we visit Airlie) if the set menu becomes permanent. Otherwise might be too expensive to get everything separately. I will be thinking about this meal all of 2026. Loved it! Phenomenal. Couldn’t recommend enough. I’d want to take this opportunity to virtually shake the hand of the chef & team. Thanks!
