The food was impeccable. We ordered the fettuccine marinara pasta, focaccia and truffle mushroom pizza. The pizza was so amazing that we ordered a prosciutto pizza right after having the truffle mushroom. The pizza tasted so amazing, the fluffy yet crisp base, and divine taste of the truffle mushroom was truly amazing. The prosciutto pizza was also fantastic and we highly recommend the pizzas. The pasta had a perfect consistency and amazing flavors, which we highly recommend. And finally last but not least the focaccia……. the focaccia was the best bread we’ve ever had, really fresh and homemade. It was so light and fluffy yet the outside was crisp and toasty. The meal was an absolute highlight of my holiday and we definitely recommend dining at la marina. We booked a table at 7:30 but arrived at 7, yet the staff still let us dine earlier than booked. The staff were very friendly and it was a great atmosphere inside. Truly amazing and one of the best restaurants we’ve ever been to.

We came to La Marina after reading many good Google reviews, but unfortunately it really let us down. We ordered the lamb and the eye fillet, but both were not cooked as requested. The lamb was undercooked, and the eye fillet we asked for medium came out well done. The staff said it was their standard cooking, which was disappointing. The food also took about 50 minutes to be served, and for the price, it felt quite expensive. The atmosphere was good for us, but overall the experience didn’t meet our expectations. I hope the management team can see this message and improve on these issues.

We recently had the pleasure of dining at this Italian restaurant in Airlie Beach, perfectly located beneath the Boathouse Apartments. The setting is ideal, with a beautiful outlook over the marina that creates a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. The service was excellent – the staff were not only friendly but also very accommodating. They happily adjusted the seafood marinara, removing the clams and mussels and replacing them with extra seafood, which made the dish even more enjoyable. It was generous, fresh, and full of flavour. The carbonara was rich and creamy with a delicious smoked bacon flavour, while the lasagne offered a hearty sauce and paired perfectly with the seasonal greens. Even the child’s spaghetti was tasty and well received. Dessert was a true highlight. The sticky date pudding was generous in size and absolutely outstanding – without a doubt the best sticky date pudding I have ever eaten. The tiramisu was equally delightful, light yet indulgent, and the perfect finish to the meal. Overall, this restaurant combines an unbeatable location, exceptional food, and warm, attentive service. A must-visit in Airlie Beach for a memorable dining experience.

Had dinner here with a Friend on the weekend and the pasta dish was amazing and full of flavours and a good size serving. The pizza though was a little disappointing as had very limited topping for a chicken pizza and probably more of a cheese pizza. The service was very good from the staff.
