You don’t feel safe in this club!!! Even though we told the security guard about a man who had groped a friend’s bottom, he wasn’t thrown out. The security guard just said the man was a regular customer
Unfortunately, I had a very bad experience at Paddy’s last night. As I entered the bar, an elderly man grabbed me inappropriately on my hip and bottom. I reported this to security and asked them to remove him, but they dismissed it, saying he was “harmless” and that they already knew him — apparently this wasn’t the first time he had touched a woman. Security should exist to make guests feel safe, not to excuse repeated inappropriate behavior. I ended up leaving, and only then did security decide to remove him. That should have happened immediately. It’s honestly concerning that sexual harassment is not taken seriously unless it escalates even further.
Best bar in Airlie. Ana and the rest of the team are absolutely amazing and always have a good time. 10/10 guinness and music as always.
