GO BARBIE! 🩷 The events centre was packed to the rafters with humans alike all dressed in pink. No one knew where the line started or finished but the team behind the desks did so well! Special shout out to the man on the popcorn stand! The venue is still so new, its actually a shame to not see it being utilised more often with theatre or events. Eventually this centre will bring so much life and entertainment to the whitsundays, its exactly what the people need. I just wish they accepted my job application. There is something for everyone at the entertainment centre!
Worst seats ever! To close together, very squished. No cup holder. One person moves, the whole row moves. Really tight to walk in between rows. Great air con. Plenty of toilets. Bar and snacks very reasonably priced. Staff friendly. Great new facility…. Just really uncomfortable seats. Couldn’t wait for movie end to stretch legs.
From the pictures, I expected a small theatre with a small screen and weak sound system, but let me you I was pleasantly surprised with my entire experience today at a showing of Pixar’s Elemental. The staff members at check-in were lovely. Lots of seats up high with good height spacing between rows. The room was quite dark, the screen bright with beautiful colours and resolution. The surround sound was nicely loud and so clear. This is a legit cinema. I’ll comeback for more movies 👍
Just got back from watching a movie with the whole family, for a small town cinema, it was great, better than I expected. But, it was freezing cold. They really boosted the AC to the max, and we all suffered. Sent hubby to the car for blankets we had at the back. I wish it was a more comfortable temperature. Nice popcorn 🍿
